How to unlock iphone 3G the easy way

Well your wait is officially over, because the Dev Team has released the yellowsn0w application, that will unlock your iPhone 3G in a couple of minutes.. Trust me, it ain’t hard and the hard work of Dev Team was worth the wait..

Perfect gift for the new years from Dev Team :) Here are the prerequisites before you can proceed with the unlock of the phone..

* You Must Have Jailbroken iPhone 3G Running Firmware 2.2 with the baseband modem firmware as 02.28.00
* To find the version of your baseband firmware, go to Settings->General->About and scroll down to find the version of your modem firmware..
* If you are not on Firmware 2.2 with baseband firmware at 02.28.00 you will need to restore your iPhone to 2.2 and rejailbreak/pwn using QuickPwn.

Alright now that you guys, lets proceed with juicy stuff of unlocking your iPhone..

Okay here we go….

• Fire up Cydia from your SpringBoard.

• Select the Manage Tab at the bottom of Cydia.

• Select the Sources Button.

• Press the Edit Button at the top of the screen.

• Now Press the Add Button at the top of the screen.

• Enter http://apt9.yellowsn0w.com/ as the source url and press the Add Source button.

• Return to Cydia once the source has been added, and press the Done button at the top of the screen.

• Tap on the just added repo apt9.yellowsn0w.com .

• Select yellowsn0w from the list of available packages.

• Press the Install button at the top of the screen.

• Press the Confirm button at the top of the screen.

• After the installation has been successfully completed, press the Return to Cydia button.

• Now Restart your iPhone, and pop in your third party SIM into the iPhone.. The Phone should now be unlocked and running on the carrier of your choice..

That was simple ain’t it? The Dev Team has really done brilliant job here, in making the process of unlocking the iPhone so darn easy! If you run into problems during this, read the following suggestions..

• It seems that getting your iPhone to pick up your new carrier can be helped by turning off 3G and perhaps toggling the Airplane Mode switch on and off.
• If you are still having problems try removing and reinserting the SIM or booting with the new SIM already inside.
• If none of these seem to work, wait for a couple of days since yellowsn0w is still beta, so there might be bugs the Dev Team will squash out in the coming few days.

The Beauty of yellowsn0w is that it makes no changes to anything on your iPhone.. Yes you heard it right, yellowsn0w will in no way modify the contents of your iPhone Baseband.. Here’s what MuscleNerd of the Dev Team said :

How to install Mac on windows

Disclaimer : This Guide is only for educational purposes , I suggest you buying yourself a original Mac.

Well before we proceed with the guide, here is the stuff that you will need for a successful dual boot setup.

• Vista Already installed on your Primary Hard Disk.
• iATKOS v1.0 DVD. (Do not ask me where you can download this)
• Windows Vista Boot DVD (Just incase something goes wrong)

Well now that you have everything ready, lets get started then. Please note this is going to take sometime so I suggest you have some Music playing near by and grab yourself a cup of coffee while you do this. Sit tight, here we go……….

• Install Vista on the First Partition of your Hard Disk. I am not going to elaborate into How to install Windows, I hope everyone knows it. If you already have it installed then read on..
• Right click on My Computer and Click on Manage. Select Disk Management. Now Create a new Volume for OSX by shrinking an existing volume. You need atleast 5GB of space and the new volume should show up as Unallocated.
• Make sure that the partition shows up as Unallocated, else repeat the previous step.
• Now restart the machine and boot into the Leopard DVD that you burned using the iATKOS v1.0 DVD Image.
• Press F8 as the countdown begins and type -v at the prompt and hit enter.
• You should see scrolling text on the screen now. If it stops anywhere then drop a comment and I’ll try to help you out.
• After a while you should be looking at the Leopard Installer. Follow the instructions on Screen.
• Once the Loading Bar vanishes Select Utilities -> Disk Utility .
• Select the Volume you created previously and format it as MAC OSX Journaled Extended. Once the formatting is done the volume is ready for installation.
• Now Close Disk Utility and Select Utilities -> Darwin Boot. Type Y at the prompt.
• At the prompt when it asks for the Disk Number enter 0. For the Partition Number if your Leopard Partition is 2nd on the disk, then enter 2 and so on.
• Accept the following prompts and you should see a success prompt saying that so many block of data were written successfully.
• Now get back to the Leopard Install Screen. Choose the partition that you made in the beginning and follow the instructions on screen.

  Please don’t select any patches etc during the installation, this is normally the reason for most failed installations. Just the plain install would do.

• Once the Install is done, reboot with the DVD in the drive. Press F8 at Darwin Boot Loader and type -s and press enter.
• Execute the following commands :

  fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0
  flag 1
  quit
  reboot

• Now before the PC restarts remove the DVD. At this point you should be able to boot into Vista normally.

  Note: If you are unable to log into windows, because there is an error which says “winload.exe” correupted.! Relax. Just insert the Windows VISTA boot DVD into the drive and restart. Click on “Repair computer” once you are inside the DVD and it will automatically detect if a problem exists and suggest “Repair and Restart”. Press the same, and remove the DVD once the PC is about to restart. You should now be able to log in to vista without any problem.

• Now that we have almost everything running fine, lets proceed with the dual boot setup.
• Boot into Vista. Copy the chain0 file from the Leopard DVD to C:
• Open the “Command prompt” with “Elevated Admin” privileges from the Start Menu.
• Type the following into the prompt

  bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Mac OS X”
  bcdedit /enum active
  bcdedit /set {GUID} PATH \chain0

  In the first command type {current} as it is, literally..nothing else..just {current} with the brackets. In the 3rd command however, replace the {GUID} with the alphanumeric GUID you see in the enumerated list under MAC OS X. You can see this list on your terminal as soon as you type the 2nd command above.

• Close the Command Prompt and Restart Vista.
• You Should now be looking at a screen with two options to boot into Mac OSX or Vista.
• Select Mac OSX to see if you can boot into it. You should see the familiar Darwin boot Loading screen with the timer going down. If you dont do anything, then it counts to zero and again shows the menu screen with Vista and MAC OSX options. Dont panic!

  Again select MAC OS X, and now as the timer counts down, Press F8. You would see a list of partitions on your disk with their names. Select the partition with MAC OSX installed by using up/down arrows and press ENTER.

• Voila!! your Mac should be booting up as you read this..

See it was that simple. No more HFS+ and Blinking Cursor errors. Just follow this guide step by step and you should be able to dual boot Windows Vista and Leopard in no time. If you have any questions just drop in a comment, I’ll reply at the earliest.

How to retrieve your Windows Vista password

METHOD 1
SOFTWARE NEEDED
ophcrack vista live cd download it here

STEP 1:
Please make sure you download the Windows Vista Live CD and not the one for Windows XP. The Live CD is a disc image saved as an '.iso' file which you need to burn onto a CD. Use a good CD/DVD burning solution to write the image file on a blank CD.
STEP 2:
Once the disc is ready, you need to boot directly from the CD you just created
STEP 3:
Once you manage to boot from the Ophcrack Live CD, you will have three choices on how to launch the tool. The first two options will launch Ophcrack in a graphic mode. If you have problems with the first mode, then reboot and choose the second. Depending on the hardware configuration, on some computers both modes will work. On the computers i have tested it, sometimes the first mode did not function properly but the second one always worked just fine.

If you don't want any graphics, then choose the third option which will launch Ophcrack in text mode.

Once you have chosen a mode, Ophcrack will start loading and retrieving your passwords. This can take a few minutes, depending on your configuration and how strong the current passwords are. Please be patient and wait until the screens with text like the one below disappear and the graphical user interface is displayed.

Once the tool loads, it will show a screen like the one below. Please be patient as not all graphical elements will be shown at once. This is because Ophcrack will be busy cracking the passwords for all users registered on the PC.

When finished, Ophcrack will show you all the registered users from your Windows Vista and their corresponding passwords in the NT Pwd column.

Write down the password for the user that interests you, reboot your PC and login to Windows Vista using the password you just recovered.

NOTE: this crack tool can crack only dictionary words ,it cant crack alphanumeric character password so i recommend the next method

How to create cracks for games

The most common software crack is the modification of an application's binary to cause or prevent a specific key branch in the program's execution. This is accomplished by reverse engineering the compiled program code using a debugger such as SoftICE, OllyDbg, GDB, or MacsBug until the software cracker reaches the subroutine that contains the primary method of protecting the software (or by disassembling an executable file with a program such as IDA).

The binary is then modified using the debugger or a hex editor in a manner that replaces a prior branching opcode with its complement or a NOP opcode so the key branch will either always execute a specific subroutine or skip over it. Almost all common software cracks are a variation of this type. Proprietary software developers are constantly developing techniques such as code obfuscation, encryption, and self-modifying code to make this modification increasingly difficult.

A specific example of this technique is a crack that removes the expiration period from a time-limited trial of an application. These cracks are usually programs that patch the program executable and sometimes the .dll or .so linked to the application. Similar cracks are available for software that requires a hardware dongle. A company can also break the copy protection of programs that they have legally purchased but that are licensed to particular hardware, so that there is no risk of downtime due to hardware failure (and, of course, no need to restrict oneself to running the software on bought hardware only).

Another method is the use of special software such as CloneCD to scan for the use of a commercial copy protection application. After discovering the software used to protect the application, another tool may be used to remove the copy protection from the CD or DVD. This may enable another program such as Alcohol 120%, CloneDVD, Game Jackal, or Daemon Tools to copy the protected software to a user's hard disk. Popular commercial copy protection applications which may be scanned for include SafeDisc and StarForce. [1]

In other cases, it might be possible to decompile a program in order to get access to the original source code or code on a level higher than machine code. This is often possible with scripting languages and languages utilizing JIT compilation. An example is cracking (or debugging) on the .NET platform where one might consider manipulating CIL to achieve one's needs. Java's bytecode also works in a similar fashion in which there is an intermediate language before the program is compiled to run on the platform dependent machine code.

Advanced Reverse engineering for Protections such as Securom, Safedisc or StarForce requires a Cracker, or many Crackers to spend much time studying the Protection, eventually finding every flaw within the Protection Code, and then coding their own tools to "Unwrap" the Protection automatically from Executable (.EXE) and Library (.DLL) files.

There are a number of sites on the Internet that let users download cracks for popular games and applications (although at the danger of acquiring malicious software that is sometimes distributed via such sites). Although these cracks are used by legal buyers of software they can also be used by people who have downloaded or otherwise obtained pirated software (often through P2P networks and torrent trackers).
